Jason's Henry Mountains trip

Last weekend Darik and I went on a fun little camping trip with our cousins Jeff and Ryan and their Dad, Daniel. We went down to the Henry Mountains in Southern Utah. This trip is annual event for our cousins, but D and I had never been there before. We had a great time! These mountains are in the most remote area I have ever been and it was pretty cool to be in the mddle of nowhere - literally. We spent our time hanging around the camp fire trying to stay warm (the nightly temps were below freezing) at night and hiking/4-wheeling during the day. This was a beautiful area that just makes me appreciate the awesomeness of this state anymore. We saw hundreds of deer on the mountain; including the biggest bucks I have ever seen (not the ones in the picture), and a small herd of bison. My uncle Daniel and I explored this sweet slot canyon and came across a cave-in and were able to make our way through it to the other side.
