Half marathon

I made it! I did my first half marathon!! It was hard and at the end I could barley stand up! Running for over 2 hours well just isn't something that I could do every day!! It was very nice to do it with Shirlene! We had prepared and I thought I was ready! But didn't practice running down hill, that was a problem. It about killed me! It was complete down hill! Shirlene stayed with me till about mile 6 but then we had to stop for traffic and I had a hard time going again, my legs killed if i walked or ran. I made it thou. I want to do another one that is more level and not so down hill. I was so sore for 4 days, I could hardly move!! I feel good now!!

4 month check up

Jameson is a very happy baby. I can't believe that he is already 4 month old. He had his 4 month check up back on Oct 24th. He weighted 14 lbs 5 oz 45%, 26 inches long 80%, and 16.5 head circumference. When we went he had another ear infection! He was fussy that morning but other than that he was fine. Poor little guy! He can roll over but still doesn't do it alot! Jameson loves to look around and look at things. We love him tons!!

Luke was the first to loose his front tooth on Saturday. Lacey didn't want to miss out on the fun and Jason helped her pull out hers on Monday night. It was hanging on by a thread and she could twist it all around. Lacey was very happy once it was out!! They lost opposite front teeth. So cool!!!

Jason took Luke and Lacey hiking a couple of weeks ago, it was so pretty that they wanted us all to go, so we did. It was so pretty and loved the colors!! It was nice just to get up in the mountains. The two little boys didn't do well at all. Joseph had an infection and Jameson was just fussy. Jameson did better than Joseph for sure. I did pretty good considering I had ran 12 miles that morning. I run my race on Saturday. I hope it goes well!! Anyways, we are trying to be more active and we the kids love being outside!!

We rode our bikes down to the river and played in the water. It was very cold and took a little bit to get used to it, but after a little while the kids couldn't get enough of it. It was lots of fun!!!

Luke and Lacey's first day of school. Jason was able to come home to see them off. He took the little boys in the truck and then I rode bikes with the kids. I can't believe they are old enough to go to school. Luke was a little scared about going to school. Lacey was so ready!! They are in the same class and love it.

At first they only played with each other, now they don't play together, they have made friends. Luke plays with the boys and Lacey plays with the girls. It is so cute to see them together!! Luke has made lot of progress at school. I'm very happy about it. He is learning lots. At first Lacey would help Luke with his work if he couldn't do something she would help him out. Then it happened again at home. They wanted to bring a note to the teacher that they had read a certain book. Lacey wrote her's but Luke couldn't write his by himself, so Lacey did it for him. When I told him he couldn't do that. He yelled. "THEY DON"T TEACH US HOW TO DO THAT AT SCHOOL," (it was only the 3rd day of school) then he started to cry. It was so cute. He wanted to be able to write like Lacey. (Now he can) I told them if they did it again they would have to be in separate class. So they told me that has never happened again!!

Our sweet little Lacey got attacked by some yellow jackets playing out on the swing set. She got 3 on her lip, one bite on her side and one on her arm. It was so sad. She cried so hard!! It was so swollen too!! Poor girl. She asked if it would go back to normal and I told her yes. Good thing it did. By the next morning she was a good as new. It hurt alot thou.

Jameson 2 month checkup

Jameson is now 2 months old. I can't believe that it has only been 2 month since he was born. I guess we have been pretty busy with summer. Not a huge fan of having a summer baby, but oh well, I will take it because I love Jameson!!

Jameson is 11 pounds 11 oz. in the 60%tile and is 22.25 inches long and in the 30%tile. His head is 15.5 inches at the 30%tile.

Jameson is a happy boy most of the time. He is very patient with his brothers and sisters holding him and loving on him. Most of the time he is good with them.

Jameson has figured out how to get his hands to his mouth, and trys to put them in his mouth lots.

Jameson is a very good sleeper. I'm very blessed!! He sleeps all night long. He goes to bed between 9-10 and wakes up between 6-7 in the morning.

He is starting to find his voice and making the cutest noise!! He is so cute I just loves when he talks. He is also smiling lots more. He tries to find you when he hears your voice. He is interacting lots more!!

He is cute as can be and we love him very much. I was able to get some cute pictures at the doctor. He was pretty happy till he had to have his shots. But now he is fine. What a sweet boy!!

Jameson is now smiling!! He first smiled for Jason on Monday July 25th and then for me on Tuesday July 26th. He is so cute when he smiles. He has smiled a few times for me already. What a cute boy!!

I can't believe how time flys. I can't believe that Jameson is already one month old. He growing so much!! At his 2 week check up (which was 2 weeks and 4 days old) he was already 8 pounds 14 oz in the 70%tile. He gained over a pound. What a good little eater he is! He was 21 inches long and in the 70%tile and 15 inche head in the 75%tile.

Jameson is sleeping anywhere from 6-7 1/2 hours at night. I'm so glad that he is a good sleeper!! What a huge blessing!! Life is in full swing at our house. Here are some of the things that Jameson has already done in his short life. We went camping for 2 nights, seven peaks, the 4th of July parade, Lots of BBQ's hiking, walks and runs, drives up the canyons, lots of hugs and kisses, Cafe Rio, sub zero Ice cream, Costco, and has meet lots of cousins and aunts and uncles, grandmas and grandpa's.

He is such a sweet little guy! I love to hold him and snuggle him!! He loves his swing and could be in there for hours. He likes to be where the action is. I think that is why he loves his swing so much!!
We are so grateful that he is apart of our family!! We love him so much!!

I can't believe that Joseph is 2 years old. Time has gone by so fast!! He is such a little man. I wish that he could communicate better, but I guess with time he will get better. He signs lots of different stuff, but he hasn't been so good as of lately on signing.

Joseph has a LOVE of hats. Not all little kids like hats, but Joseph has to wear one every day. He would like to take naps and go to bed with it on, but I make him take it off.

Joseph loves balls and being outside. He wants to go outside all the time. He thinks that he is bigger than he is, he wants to do to do whatever the big kids do.

Joseph is great at giving kisses to his mom and dad and Jameson. He gives kisses to other people if he feels like it. Jojo is a great cuddler, which I love. He loves to be held and it so cute!!

Joseph loves to go in the truck or in the van to go places.

Joseph loves little Jameson. He wants to hold him all the time and loves to say ME ME.

Joseph has a special love of men, especially his dad! He loves to be with Jason. He wants to do whatever he does.

At the parade

We had a fun time at the parade this year, then we went over to the colonial days, but we didn't stay too long because it so hot. Then we headed over to cafe Rio to get lunch. Alot of other people had that same idea cause there was lots of people there. Then we headed home. My mom took the kids to the veterans pool, to cool off and be with there cousins. Then we had a BBQ at my parents house and a 75th Birthday party for my Grandma. It was fun to see my cousins that I don't get to see that often. Then we headed home to go to bed. The kids really wanted to watch fireworks, so they went outside for a few minutes, and it started raining, so they stopped doing them, we came in and went to bed. It was a fun long weekend.

Our Little guy was born on Monday June 20th at 8:02 pm. He weighted 7 pounds 13 oz and 19 inches long. He was born at 38 weeks 5 days. I went into labor all by myself (this is the first time that has happened). Jameson was born posterior. I couldn't have done an all natural childbirth without Jason and Nicole by my side. They kept me going when I thought that I couldn't make it. It was 6 hours long, long in my book, but that was because he was posterior. My doctor was great. She let me do whatever I wanted. Waited till I was ready for her to do anything. I didn't even know that she was there, she got there about 30 minutes after me and was there the whole time. She was great! I didn't have an IV because they couldn't get it so they just said forget it. It was great. It was hard work, but it was worth it in the end. Jameson had meconium and he did great! He was very alert when he was born, and cried hard. So no NICU for him!!! Yes that was great!

I don't remember alot of the details of the birth because I was in my own little world. Time was out the window. Nicole was so nice and wrote up her perspective of the birth. When I read it, I was yes that is what happened.

Over all it was a great experience! I'm so glad he is here now!

Out with the old in with the new!

At last we said goodbye to my little black car! It was time for it to go. It wasn't safe, only either Jason or I drove it. (mostly Jason) Jason has been a champ driving it. So it was time for us to say goodbye. We did! I put it up on KSL and not even 30 seconds later I had calls on it. I placed it online on a Sunday because I thought that it would take a while to sell and no one would want a 1991 Geo Strom, but boy I was wrong. I was going to list it for $550 and Jason said that we could get more for it so I listed it for $650. Good thing I did. I talked to 5-10 people before church in like 20 mintues. Then while we were at church we had about 60 missed calls. Then someone came after church and it was sold. They came on Monday to pick it up and pay for it. It was easy! Who would have thought!! Not me!!

Jason's new truck was bought sight unseen by us. My parents happened to be going to Texas back in March and Jason found this truck. My parents went and looked at it, said it was good and we bought it. Jason LOVES it! I'm so happy! He works so hard for our family! It was time he got a new truck. It had just about everything he wanted on it. It was shipped home and we picked it up in salt lake about a week later! It worked out nicely!

This is our new toy room! I love it. Jason Brother Brady made the bench and did a great job on it. I have been working on it for a while and the last few days we put it together. Thanks for all of Jason's work on getting everything up! I think it looks great! Now for moving all the toys.

I have been awful at taking pictures lately!!! I wish I could be better at remembering the camera, and then taking pictures, but I'm not. Maybe it has to do with the fact that I have 4 children to get ready and in the car or just doing things. Maybe it is the fact that I'm pregnant and running out of energy very fast!! Maybe I'm just lazy or too busy, I don't know but I"m going to do better!! I need to do better for the kids!! So here is what we have been up to.

Jason went to San Fransisco last week for a work conference. Once a year they go to there heart convention. He was gone from Tuesday till Late Friday night. It should have been no big deal, because Jason works crazy long hours most of the time! There are weeks that I wouldn't normally see him during that time except maybe from 10pm-4am while we are sleeping, some days later than that! So it shouldn't have been hard. But it was!! Maybe because I knew he wasn't a couple miles away, or the fact that I knew that he was eating till his heart content and I guess I was jealous! lol. I really do like to eat!! But anyways, we made it alive so that is all that matters!!! We were sure glad that he made it home safely and that he had fun!!!

Mothers Day was great! Jason made me some breakfast. It was yummy. My parents were gone to DC for Jesses wedding, so my mom wasn't around on mother's Day. (I'm sad that I didn't go but I was where I felt that I needed to be home with my family, taking care of my Children) But the Saturday before that we were able to go shopping together and get her so much needed new clothes for her new body!! So that was nice, even though it wasn't on Mother's Day it was still nice!! I enjoyed it very much!! My dad was nice enough to stay home with the kids while we went! Thanks Dad!! I'm sure that the kids would have been board out of there minds!! Jason was working or else he would have done it!! Jason got me these nice kitchen shears and potato washer gloves from Williams-sonama. It was very nice and thoughtful! I love them!! It was great!! Lydia made this puzzle picture frame with a letter why she loves me. It was very thoughtful and very nice. The twins made little cards for me. It was a great day!! I sure love my kids very much!!

I'm now 33 weeks pregnant. I just switched Doctors. I was going to Dr. Grover (who I had gone to with Joseph) she is a fine doctor, but I just wasn't feeling the warm fuzzes from her about me having a natural childbirth. But I didn't know where else to go. So I stayed. But then somethings happened. Nothing major, but just a feeling I wanted more. I mentioned something to my friend, and she said that Dr. Savage was highly recommended for natural childbirth. So I called that day and made my appointment. I went on Monday. I really liked her. We talked about what I wanted and my concerns and she told me hers. I think it will be a great fit! I will let you know how that goes! When she measured me she measured me at 31 weeks, which made me a little concerned, because I was measuring large, and then I have been slowly falling behind. My other doctor thought it was no big deal, I said something to her about it, and she said lets have an ultrasound to make sure that he is growing and that made me feel better. Instead of worrying about this I would know either way. Yesterday I had my ultrasound. He is measuring 34 1/2 weeks and about 5 and half pounds. So he is measuring BIG and doing good inside me! He is a big baby! Fun stuff!! He could really get big in the upcoming weeks. Joseph has been the biggest at 8 pounds 6 oz (or 7or 8Oz, I can't remember at the moment, LOL) I"m thinking that he could be the biggest! Oh well. I have been doing my hyponobabies faithfully every day! It is alot of work in preparing for his upcoming birth but I totally think that it is worth it!! Lacey wants to know why I always have to do my hyponobabies. She said you have done this before, and I said yes, but this time I wanted it different so I have to practice. She didn't say much after that. Lacey sure thinks about things more than the others, and is very smart about life. That crazy little girl!! I'm really like that Jason is more involved with it and I really think it is a great thing!! I'm very excited!!

We only have like 11 days left of school and I can't wait to be done!! I'm ready for a break and I know that Lydia is too!! We are ready for summer! They are very excited about swim lessons! Well, I'm done writing now. I normally don't write like this but I just had alot of things that I wanted to remember. But now I"m done.

Getting ready to dye Easter eggs, We didn't take any pictures of the event of the actual dying of the eggs, we forgot! Bummer!!

Here is the Easter basket. The Easter bunny came on Saturday morning and then we could have funon Saturday and on Sunday remember the real reason for Easter. We had a little egg hunt at our house, then we got together at Grammy's and Papa house for an Easter activity (but I didn't take any pictures)

A few weeks back we went for a hike. It was a little cool out but we had fun being together. We hiked up to to some falls. It was very nice being outside!

When I was working a week or so ago, Jason and the kids went on a bike ride. He went pretty far with the kids. On the way back it started raining. Lacey and Luke were crying, but Tessa from our ward came to the rescue and picked the twins up and took them home. This is them when they got home. They had hot chocolate and warmed by the space heater in the boys room.

Hike the Y

Jason took the three older kids to hike the Y. Joseph and I stayed home to take naps. The kids had alot of fun. It was a hard hike. Lydia fell down on the way down and scraped up her knees pretty bad.
