Utah Lake fun!!

A few Saturdays we had went to Utah Lake becasue they were having there annual event(I can't remember what it is called) with Games and fun for the kids. We were planning on getting there right at the beginning but something came up and I ended up taking the kids with my mom to the Lake. The thing that came up was Jason's parents were pooring sement in for there back pattio. It turned out very nice. It was lots of work!! We got there for the last hour of fun.

The kids really wanted to get there face painted but it was closed when we got there, but my mom asked the lady if she could get in line and try to see if we could make it. We made it just in time. Thanks to Grammy waiting in line the kids were able to get there face painted while I took them around to making fish hats, blow the boat races, and fishing, and this shooting the duck game. The kids had lots of fun. Lacey and Lydia raced against each other in the blowing the boats and Lacey won. The funny thing is that she didn't even blow the boat, it went by it self. She was very proud of herself, they loved it. At the facepainting Lydia got a Butterfly, Lacey got a heart, and Luke got the spidermans web on his eye. They did a great job!!

St. George (by Jason)

A few weeks ago we went down to St. George for our first family vacation with Darik in.... well a while. We rented a really nice condo in Sports Village. This place was so much better than a hotel. Two big bedrooms, two bathrooms, full kitchen, dining and living rooms. Two pools, basketball, tennis, racquetball, gym, mini-golf and beautiful weather made it so that we really didn't have to go far to have a good time. We ate at In-and Out, Cafe Rio, and Olive Garden while down there but spent most of our time having a great time @ the condo. We did go hiking up on the red cliffs one day, and that was way fun. Kristin was such a trooper hiking around with her prego-belly; she did great! Our kids could not get enough of the pool. The girls took to the water like pros, but little Luke never quite got comfortable with it and I still have his fingernail marks on the back of my neck. Lydia just loved jumping in from the sides and swimming wherever she wanted with her life jacket on. They wanted to be at the pool the whole time, so that was kind of tiring for their Mom and Dad but we still got plenty of R&R in too.
This was honestly one of the funnest trips that we've ever gone on and we can't wait to do it again. (and never in a hotel again)

All of the girls loved the wrap-around counter and mirror in the bathroom and turned it into their very own salon.
