In loving memory of Lavette

Lavette has been apart of our family for a long time. She is such a good dog!! I will miss her lots. She has been a GREAT companion dog for my dad! She does great with all the little kids. But now it is time to say goodbye! I just said my goodbyes to her, my dad is taking her to be put down. She is very sick, and is not doing well. It was a hard decision that we made, but it is for the best. She will be missed alot. I love my little vetty.

I remember right after we got her she was just a little puppy she would sit in my lap and sleep while I read. So cute!! I will miss her!!!

Computer Time

Well let's just say that i"m not the best blogger anymore. Life has been crazy busy with vacations and Family time it just been hard to stay caught up. But I'm going to do better! This is my journal plus my scrapbook all in one. I want to scrapbook, but maybe one day will happen but not right now.

I have been using the internet alot less lately and my life feels so good because of it. I think that my family was taking a back seat to the internet. I think I was pretty much addicted to the internet. It was the first thing that I did in the morning and the last thing I did before I went to bed! I was on the computer all the time, just wasting time! I spent alot of time in front of the computer and my kids took a back seat. So I have changed that. I get on the computer 3 times a day for less than 30 minutes each time. It is great! I love my new system. I feel that I can still check on what I want but it not rule my life! Our children are happier and my house is cleaner and life is better. I feel that I can get things done that I want to get done. I have time for my new found hobby of Running. I know this might shock alot of people, since I don't like to sweet a whole lot, but I love the way that it makes me feel and it gives me some me time. I'm not fast but I'm actually enjoying it. I have been running since the middle of March. I started with 2 miles and I really thought that I was going to die, but I made it and I kept with it, now I'm up to 5 miles and it feels really good!! I love my nike + it is the best thing ever!! I just really love it!!! Thanks for my dad that helps with my kids when Jason is not home so that I can go Running. Thanks dad you are the best!!! I love you!!! Anways we are all healthy and happy and life is good. At the end of April Jason and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary! 7 great years. Our Life is good!!

Joseph's 10 months old

I can't believe our baby is 10 months old today!!! Wow how time goes so fast!!! At Joseph nine month and 23 day check up he weighted in at 19.03 pounds in the 17.28 % tile, 30.25 inches long in the 91.73 %tile and for his head circumference is 18.5 inches and is in the 86.01 % tile. I'm not sure if I believe that his head is that big, and neither did the doctor. Oh well it doesn't matter much anyways.

Joseph loves to eat!! He eats pretty much anything that you give him. He loves to feed himself. Sometimes when you give him food he spits it out and then puts it back in his mouth all by his self. He can feed himself cracker, cheerios, foot loops, banana, apples, or watermelon. He still is Nursing and we love that time together.

Joseph can pull himself up to things and walk around on them. He loves to crawl and get where he wants to go. He can go all the way up the stairs now. He knows that he is not suppose to go up them. Sometimes when he goes up the stair he will go half way and wait till and look at you to see if you are going to come get him. Funny boy!!

He loves the bathrooms. He loves to unroll the toilet paper and play in the toilet if you let him. (yucky) We try our best to keep them closed at all times so he doesn't get in there!!!

He LOVES to be outside. He sill stand at the screen when the other kids are out there playing and watch them. He loves to swing in his swing or just enjoys the grass or anything outside.

Joseph has found his voice! He loves to scream. I don't like this at all and we are working on not screaming! He talks alot of baby babble. He says dada, and is still working on mama, although I think that he has said it once.

Joseph has four teeth. The two bottom and the two top. The two top teeth are still coming in, they have broken through but are not all the way in. Joseph wears 12 months clothes for the length because he is a tall boy. Joseph wears sizes 3 diapers as well.

Joseph is not the best sleeper. We are faithfully working to correct this problem!! Right now he is taking his nap!! Yeah for us!! He has been asleep for a full hour, this is huge!!! Yeah for baby Joseph!!! All the other kids were great sleepers and I think part of that was because they were on a sleeping schedule so yes at 10 months old we are doing a sleeping schedule for Joseph. It has only been a few days but let hope it helps!!! I don't know why I haven't done this early but now I am.

Joseph can now roll from his back to his tummy! Dang it! I loved being able to put him on his back and know that he wasn't going anywhere!!! We called it Turtleing him. But while we were in St. George he finally figured it out. He is a big boy. He loves his freedom that this brings!!

Joseph can get where he wants to go so fast. He is mastering the art of crawling!! He is speedy. He can walk if you hold his hands. Although I'm not in a hurry for him to walk. I want him to stay a baby as long as he will let himself. He doesn't want to be a baby thou, he wants to be able to play with the big kids.

We love our Joseph so much!!! He is a sweet baby, and love him to pieces!!! He gives the best loves and is so good natured!! Love him!!

Lydia's new dress

Lydia is growing up so fast!! She is such a big help to me. She LOVES to go to school and learn. She loves her friends as well. She is learning so much!! She can read now and is learning more and more every day! She loves to play with Nichole and her sister and brother. She is getting so big!! She has lost 4 teeth now, and more that are not far behind.
Lydia is very sweet and loves to help take care of Joseph! She is very caring and loves him alot!! I love my little Ruthie!!!

Luke's Big Boy Bed

We have been working on refinishing Luke bed for over a year now. He has been sleeping on a toddler mattress on the ground. Now he is in a big bed. He loves it. He would ask me to paint it and finish it for him. I Painted it all. It was alot of work but I'm glad that it is done now!!! He are some pictures from last year sanding it.

Joseph did very well during his haircut! He did great. He went from my little baby to my big boy! He looked so different after the haircut. I just couldn't handle his hair anymore, it was out of control! But he looked so cute with all his hair. I missed it at first and it was weird looking at him. But now it is normal. So cute!

Joseph Harrison at 9 months

I can't believe that Joseph is 9 months already!! He is such a cute boy, we love him to death!! Here are some things that Joseph is into!
- he loves balls and being outside
- he is pulling himself up and standing at things.
- he loves to eat food
- wants to be able to play with his sisters and brother
- has 3 teeth and another soon will be coming in
- Joseph had his first big hair cut
- he crawls fast everywhere and loves to get into things that he is not suppose to
- doesn't like sitting in his carseat for long drives
- He is a very happy boy who loves to smile and doesn't want to miss anything
- Joseph is not the best sleeper- we are working on that
- He is wearing 12 month clothes and size 3 diapers
- he likes to play with emme even thou he doesn't play nicely
- he loves to be held and gives some sweet hugs
- Joseph is very good at letting his brother and sisters play with him and do to him what they want

Arches and Canyonlands!!

We went to Moab for Spring break with our good friends the Guzman's. We had a blast and can't wait to go back!! It was frezzing the first night. It was very cold at night, but great during the day. WE even got sunburned!! The first ngiht Joseph and Lydia ended up in bed with us becasue they were cold. The next two night we put more clothes on the kids and they slept all night long. Joseph still ended up in bed with us every night. He had one really hard night. But we made it and loved it.

We spent 2 days hiking and the kids did GREAT. I didn't think that they would do as good as they did, but they did awesome!!! They loved it. We are going to be doing lots more hiking together. Jason had Joseph in the backpack, the whole time he was in there he was great never made a sound. He just loved being right there with Jason and being able to see everything. What a great boy!! If you notice Joseph did get his Haircut, but I can't find the pictures. I don't know what happened to them. Hopefully Jason does, so then I can do a post for it!!!

We had so much fun being together as a family! Jason has been working lots of long hours and it was very nice to get away and just hang out as a family and with the Guzman's!! thanks for inviting us. We loved it! Can't wait to go camping again and hiking!!
