Luke and Lacey's first day of kindergarten

Luke and Lacey's first day of school. Jason was able to come home to see them off. He took the little boys in the truck and then I rode bikes with the kids. I can't believe they are old enough to go to school. Luke was a little scared about going to school. Lacey was so ready!! They are in the same class and love it.

At first they only played with each other, now they don't play together, they have made friends. Luke plays with the boys and Lacey plays with the girls. It is so cute to see them together!! Luke has made lot of progress at school. I'm very happy about it. He is learning lots. At first Lacey would help Luke with his work if he couldn't do something she would help him out. Then it happened again at home. They wanted to bring a note to the teacher that they had read a certain book. Lacey wrote her's but Luke couldn't write his by himself, so Lacey did it for him. When I told him he couldn't do that. He yelled. "THEY DON"T TEACH US HOW TO DO THAT AT SCHOOL," (it was only the 3rd day of school) then he started to cry. It was so cute. He wanted to be able to write like Lacey. (Now he can)  I told them if they did it again they would have to be in separate class. So they told me that has never happened again!!
