After preschool the twins and I made some pudding. They love helping and making it and eating it. Supper easy. They said it was good! So that fun for them!! Here is the recipe just in case anyone wanted to make it with there kids (or by themselves)
Real Homemade Chocolate Pudding
(Almost as fast as the boxed kind)
Serves 4
1 egg yolk
2 cups milk
1/4 cup flour or cornstarch
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 tablespoons mini-chocolate chips
In a small bowl, using a wire whisk, mix the egg yolk and milk
together well.
In your saucepan, mix together the dry ingredients until well blended.
Slowly stir in milk/egg mixture. Go easy?you don't want it lumpy (use
your wire whisk). Heat over low heat and continue to stir until
mixture thickens.
Pour into pudding cups. Sprinkle the top with the mini-chocolate chips
(they will melt?this is a good thing. Swirl before you inhale.)
Chill or serve warm.
