July has been fun! (posted by Jason)

On the 4th of July I had to work, but Kristin got to take the kids to Provo's annual Freedom Festival parade where they had all kinds of fun with Kristin's and my parents and the kids' cousins. Notice the beautiful dresses and bows that Kristin made for the girls.

After I got off work I met Kris and the kids at her parent's house for a great BBQ, then we biked with the kids over to Lavell Edwards Stadium where we set up blankets right outside to watch what we could of the Stadium of Fire. That was so fun, we were able to here Miley Cirus perform and have a front row seat for the fireworks. The kids had a blast! our camera battery died, so we didn't get many pictures. The Awesome thing about us riding our bikes was that we were able to zoom past the insane traffic in Provo after the fireworks are over.

This picture is at the stadium walls. The next morning we got the kids up early and biked to Fox Field to watch the hot-air balloons fill up and launch. The kids loved the pink piggy-bank balloon and Smokey the Bear.

We had a great fourth of July Weekend. Hope everyone else did too.

That's great that you are able to bike everywhere! Saves money on gas and keeps you healthy! Just watch out for the puddles Kristin! :) Sounds like you guys had lots of fun! And the dresses and bows look great.
