38 weeks

I am finally 38 weeks!! Yeah I have made it this far. I had Jason take a picture of me yesterday so that I could post after I went to the doctors tomorrow. But they called me and said that I could come in today because they had time. So, I went. I had this plan in mind on how it was going to go and that probably was my first problem. We had done alot of walking this weekend because of the fourth that I knew for sure that the baby had dropped more and that I would be dilated to a 2 or so (because last week I was at a one) but that surly wasn't the case. Last week he was head down ready to go, but this week he wasn't, he had turned sideways. The doctor was like where did he go? That is not too normal for them to turn that late becasue they are too big to turn that much. But not for our little guy who has tons of room to do whatever he wants. The doctor said that because I was so stretched out from the twins, he has tons of room to turn all over the place! So now, I'm waiting for the doctors office to call because I'm going to go to perinataologly to turn him back the way he is suppose to be. There are some risks involved in this and oh yes more pain. They turned Lacey and I had my epidural going full blast and it hurt, so I'm sure it is going to be oh so much fun and painful!! So I hope and pray that he will just turn back head down and then when I do end up going to perinataology they will not have to do anything. So I have my next appointment schedule with my doctor on Monday the 13th which is when I wanted to be started. She said that she would start me 7 days before my due date. But because I'm due on Sunday that is the next closes day. So now we wait, and hope he turns head down and then he puts pressure on my cervix to have me dilate and then the contractions can start. I'm so ready to be done. This pregnancy has been very long and hard on me!! I'm ready to be done. But i guess i still will have two more weeks!!

You are so close to being done! Just think, at least your doctor will have you go early if anything...if you were in my shoes you would have a month left (since I went to 42 weeks)! I am sorry to hear that he moved. Aubree's head was face down like it should be and then the day they broke my water she was facing sideways, so that was another thing working against me when I tried for a vaginal delivery because she wasn't faced the right way. I hope he turns on his own or that it isn't too painful for you if they have to try and turn him! Good luck with everything. I am thinking about you :)

I've never had twins but I know what it's like to be ready for it all to be over! Yikes! Turning the baby doesn't sound like fun? Good luck with that! Hope the next 2 weeks go so quickly.....

Yeah!!! congratulations!! I am so excited for you. I am one who is not a fan of being pregnant, so I know the feeling of wanting to be done and get it over with. Hopefully that little boy of yours turns and decides to come early!! I'll keep my fingers crossed or you!! Good luck on your next apt.

I'm so sorry, having all your hopes and dreams shattered just like that! Well, I hope he turns on his own. I don't really know what they do when the doctor has to do it for you, but you don't make it sound like much fun. :( Good luck!!!
